Some of our past events:
A key part of our mission at The Parker Foundation is to provide fully funded educational services and resources for families, educators, first responders and the general public which we do through our Speak Through Education program. Topics may include but are not limited to behavioral issues, health concerns, feeding, toileting, communication, socialization, financial issues, understanding IEP's, need for early diagnosis and intervention, community resources and support groups, autism specific safety information and bullying prevention. The Parker Foundation with its partnerships will provide industry experts in the fields of Autism, Childhood Development, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy, Occupational and Speech therapy, Physicians, IEP Specialists, and other specialized community resource contacts.
These events will help families and caretakers with additional skills to expand and develop their children as well as give them information, additional support and/or benefits that maybe available for them. It also is our hope to expand community awareness, understanding and the potential of children with ASD's and related disabilities. All programs are free of charge and fully funded by The Parker Foundation their partners and affiliates.
