At The Parker Foundation, we utilize volunteers in several ways. Volunteer "Peer Buddies" are Junior High and High School aged children who have a specific interest in building leadership and mentoring skills by working side by side children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, related disabilities and their siblings. These young people must have a positive attitude and be ready to have some fun! Next, we utilize adult volunteers to assist with running activities that either have a background in education, special education, or a specific talent that they can share to lead a specialized clinic.
